See You In Sayulita! See You In Sayulita!

Joe & Jenna

Hello loved ones! Thanks for checking out our wedding website. You're probably here for more info about this adventure we'd like to go on with you, but to start here's a bit about us!

Joe's bio by Jenna: Joe is a Wisconsin boy, hailing from La Crosse but calling the Twin Cities home for the last 9 years. Joe is SO NICE - if you haven't gotten to meet him yet you'll soon see how genuine and truly great he is. He is creative, driven, super cute, and the best life partner a girl could ask for. Two of his greatest passions are sports and photography. However the position of "favorite thing of Joe's" goes to hot dogs (Chicago style).

Jenna's bio by Joe: Jenna is the true definition of a great thing coming in a small package. She has a huge heart and she is filled with fun, kindness, great looks, a brilliant mind, hell of a cook, and all around great person! On our first date she told me she couldn’t imagine being at Lambeau Field when the weather was above 10 degrees. Yep I haven't stopped loving her since and cant wait to see her in the beautiful white dress!

We've been together for 5 years after being set up by our friend Jordan and his mom Suzi "because you're both short and should meet." After a nervous and amazing first date in Minneapolis, we were smitten and became the small happy couple you know today. We both truly believe we've found our 'person' in the world, and couldn't imagine our lives solo or with anyone else. We love cooking, traveling, bonding with family and friends, heading up north for some cabin time, and (of course) being creative and taking photos together.

Before this whole marriage thing, our biggest adventure has been starting a photography business. Called Joe & Jen Photography, it's 3.5 years old and one of our proudest accomplishments. We love owning it together, and we've learned so much about how to be a team "in real life" through this venture. It's truly incredible to be able to rely on one another's strengths and passions as we begin making a life for ourselves.

On January 20th, 2015 (his birthday!) Joe proposed to Jenna at their home. He was very tricky and had the ring shipped by her mom, so she suspected nothing as she thought it was just a birthday package for him. She quickly learned the item inside was her engagement ring (from the same jeweler that designed her parents' wedding rings). An extra special touch: the box contained letters from all of our parents. Pretty cute huh?

We're so excited to kick off our marriage with a tropical adventure with you, our amazing community of family and friends.
